For Teachers: About K.L. Armstrong and M.A. Marr

The authors were friends for several years and found themselves spending hours talking about mythology and monsters. One sleepy morning, they realized that M.A.’s second last name is Norwegian (the similarity between that name and “Midgard Serpent” is totally coincidental), and K.L. likes to tackle creatures in video games when not writing (and sometimes when she’s supposed to be writing). Between monster-obsession, myth fixations, and the books they read with their 11-13 year old sons, they had to write the Blackwell Pages.
